Year 13 student Ollie Jurd has been named as one of ten youth ambassadors for Save The Children Charity as part of the Generation Hope initiative. We are very proud of Ollie’s commitment to leadership in his local community.

As a youth ambassador, Ollie advocates for children’s rights & well-being, climate action, and social justice. He helps make change through policy advocacy, public speaking, community campaigns, and meetings with politicians to influence national policy. You can read more in Ollie’s profile on the Save the Children website.

Recently we celebrated the release of Yr 13 student Olya Pound's poetry book 'Reality'. Olya read some poems from the book for an appreciative audience.

Olya's poems are about her experience living with a chronic condition, and are a touching insight into her day to day reality.

You can find one of Olya's poems from her book in the news article on the front page of our website or under the news tab.

WSCW Yr 12 & 13 students will be selling their products at the Grey Lynn Markets over the next three weekends. There's a range of things to buy. The students really value our support, so let's get along so if you have time and see what they are selling!

Matt Day, one of our Yr 12 students is bringing his racing car on May 24th to promote his business 'Matt Day Motorsport'.

He's selling caps and photo opportunities in his racing car. Every person who buys a cap goes into the draw to win a 'Hotlap' in the car. See the poster attached for more details.
