Happy Birthday wishes to Nick Howdle - it was wonderful celebrating with you today. Today's training at North Shore branch went well, and our members were excited to hear the news that the 80th World Shorinji Kempo Organisation Taikai has been set for October 2027; many members are now planning on attending. Melbourne this November, Nagoya next October - we’ve got this 🙏💪

Thanks Auckland Shorinji Kempo Group for combined training tonight across our branch, central and East Aucklnd. Great to see some new and old faces and it was a good turn out. Congratulations to Blesilda who received her Orange belt today. She did really well with strong effort. It was a busy training with her results revealed and 2 kenshi sitting their 2 kyu grading - results next week for them. Great job Bless and well done to everyone else on a good training

Today we celebrate a very special milestone — 20 years of Shorinji Kempo North Shore Branch and 20 years with Darren Louie as Branch Master. Since 2006, Darren’s leadership, dedication, and passion have helped build a strong community rooted in character, skill, respect, and friendship. Congratulations to everyone who has been part of the journey — past and present — and thank you for 20 incredible years on the North Shore.
