Today, our toddlers enjoyed fun Frozen Oishie experiment! They added baking soda and vinegar to the ice and watched with excitement as the fizzing reaction helped dissolve the frozen Oishie. It was a wonderful hands-on experiment that encouraged curiosity, observation, and exploration.

This week in the Kauri room (preschool), we have been exploring our interests in insects and bugs through arts and crafts! Many of our tamariki have been enjoying finding insects in our great outdoor area, looking after them and learning about them! They put a lot of effort and thought into their individual pieces when provided with an insect craft invitation, further strengthening their creativity, thought process, fine motor skills and ability to express their ideas with different resources.
One of our amazing student kaiako also made a large insect puzzle which was well loved, encouraging collaboration, social skills and sharing joy!
