📚🐺 **Book Week – Little Red Riding Hood Comes to Life!** 🧺❤️

As part of our Book Week celebrations, our tamariki brought the much-loved story of *Little Red Riding Hood* to life through a fun and lively re-enactment!

With Little Red Riding Hood, the wolf and other story characters taking centre stage, the children listened, laughed and eagerly joined in as the story unfolded before their eyes. It was wonderful to see their excitement and imaginations come alive! ✨

Acting out a familiar story gives children the confidence to express themselves, explore different characters and develop their language and storytelling skills—all while having lots of fun with their friends.

🌼💛 **Celebrating Daffodil Day at Rising Stars** 💛🌼

Our tamariki enjoyed creating their own bright yellow daffodils through painting, gluing and hands-on art activities.

As their beautiful flowers came to life, the children practised their creativity, concentration and fine motor skills while learning about kindness, caring and supporting others.

A lovely day filled with little hands, big hearts and plenty of yellow! 🌼

🐄🐑 **Down on the Farm at Rising Stars!** 🐖🐴

Our tamariki had a wonderful time exploring our farmyard small-world experience. As they moved the animals around, created their own stories and imagined life on the farm, they were developing language, creativity and problem-solving skills through play.

These hands-on experiences also encourage curiosity, concentration and a growing understanding of animals and the world around us.

Learning is always more exciting when little imaginations lead the way! 🌾💛

At Rising Stars Henderson, literacy and numeracy are woven naturally into our preschoolers’ everyday learning. ✏️🔢

🦕✨ Dinosaur Messy Play Adventure! ✨🦖

Our tamariki had the best time exploring a wonderfully messy dinosaur world! Little hands squished, stretched, poured and splashed through the goo while rescuing dinosaurs and creating their own prehistoric adventures. 🤍

There were lots of curious faces, sticky fingers, big smiles and plenty of laughter as the children explored together. A beautiful morning of sensory play, imagination, friendship and joyful learning. 💚

Sometimes the messiest play creates the sweetest memories! 🦕🫧💕

Our centre was filled with creativity, warmth and togetherness as our tamariki celebrated Matariki. 💙

The children enjoyed making beautiful star artwork, painting, exploring different textures and sharing a delicious warm kai together. Every little hand helped create something special, reminding us that just like the stars of Matariki, we all shine brighter when we come together. ✨

At **Rising Stars Henderson**, every milestone is worth celebrating! 💛

This week, we had the joy of celebrating some very special birthdays, filling our days with smiles, songs, birthday wishes, and delicious cupcakes. Watching our tamariki light up as everyone sang *Happy Birthday* reminded us how important it is for every child to feel seen, valued, and celebrated. 🎈🎁

We also proudly celebrated the graduation of some of our amazing tamariki as they prepare to begin their next learning journey at school. Seeing them wear their graduation caps, receive their certificates, and share heartfelt hugs with their teachers and friends was a beautiful reminder of how much they have grown during their time with us. 🎓❤️

While we'll miss their laughter around our centre, we know they are leaving with confidence, curiosity, kindness, and wonderful memories that will stay with them for years to come.

🌱💛 A Day Full of Care and Smiles 💛🌱

Today was another happy day at Rising Stars Henderson!

Some of us spent the morning building roads and bridges with blocks. 🚗🧱

Some of us explored new toys and discovered exciting things around us. 👶✨

And when it was time for lunch, our teachers sat with us, helped us when we needed a hand, and made sure our tummies were full and our hearts were happy. 🍽️💛

We are all different ages, learning different things every day, but one thing is always the same – we know we are safe, cared for, and loved.

Our teachers cheer us on when we try something new, comfort us when we need cuddles, and celebrate every little achievement along the way.

At Rising Stars Henderson, every day is filled with learning, laughter, friendship, and kindness. 🌿✨
