Mānawatia a Matariki!
What a joyful evening as we came together to celebrate Matariki! Embracing this year's theme-“Matariki Herenga Waka”, we celebrated the many ways Matariki brings us together—connecting whānau, tamariki, and kaiako through shared experiences, laughter and aroha.

Our evening was filled with beautiful waiata and dancing, a fun Matariki quiz, delicious kai shared together, and a special moment of making wishes beside the campfire. These meaningful experiences reminded us of the importance of belonging, reflecting on the past, celebrating the present, and looking forward to the future with hope.

Ngā mihi to everyone who joined us and made this celebration so memorable. Together, we honoured the spirit of Matariki by strengthening the bonds that connect our community.

This week we celebrated Samoan Language Week. The children enjoyed taking part in a variety of art and craft activities while learning about Samoan culture and traditions. It was wonderful to see their creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm as they explored and celebrated Samoan culture.

Our Mothers’ Day Morning Tea was filled with warmth, joy, and meaningful connections. The heartwarming cards created by little hands, the warm hugs, the unhurried conversations made our celebration truly special!

To all our mums, thank you for the love, strength, tenderness, and care you pour into your children each day. It was our privilege to honour you and share this celebration together in connection, gratitude, and appreciation.

What an exciting Easter Bonnet Parade we had together today!

Our tamariki and whānau had so much fun proudly showing off their beautiful bonnets, while singing and dancing joyfully at the parade.

A special thank you to our wonderful whānau who joined us for this special event. Moment like this strengthen our sense of whanaungatanga, bringing us closer together as a community.

As we celebrate Easter, we reflect on new beginnings, growth, and connection. It is heartwarming to see our tamariki continuing to grow and flourish each day!
