Such a lovely sunny day for a walk with the children ☀️🌿

Tamariki were so curious, noticing all the little things around our neighbourhood and asking lots of questions. We spotted council workers planting new trees in our local park, and it was wonderful to see our community creating a greener space.

It felt like a special Matariki moment — celebrating connection, caring for our whenua, and planting hope for the future. 🌟💚

Every Friday (when the weather is nice), we will be hosting Wheels Day at Happy Kiddy Castle!

Children are welcome to bring their favourite wheels — bikes, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, and more — and enjoy an active day filled with smiles, movement, and fun with friends. 💚

🪖 Safety first: Helmets must be worn at all times while riding.

Let’s build confidence, encourage active play, and create happy memories together. ❤️

At Happy Kiddy Castle, we believe every child deserves to feel valued, included, and celebrated.

This year, we are proud to support the Annual West Auckland Special Needs Children’s Bowling Party on Saturday, 20 June 2026 — a special day filled with fun, friendship, games, food, and smiles for children with autism and special needs, as well as their caregivers.

As educators, we see every day how important it is for children to feel accepted, supported, and connected. Inclusion isn’t just something we teach — it’s something we live.

We are honoured to stand alongside Autism NZ and our local community in helping create opportunities where every child can experience joy, belonging, and meaningful connections.

Children explored the light corner using a variety of engaging materials including a disco light, light table, x-ray pictures, colourful shapes, and transparent blocks. They investigated how light shines through different objects, created patterns and designs, and observed colours, shadows, and reflections. Through collaborative play and inquiry, children developed curiosity, creativity, and early scientific thinking while expressing their ideas and discoveries.
