KOREAN BEGINNERS - TANGAROA COLLEGE : Onehunga High School Adult Learning Centre An introductory and intensive course in Korean language.  This conversation-based course is suitable for absolute beginners.  Learn the basics of vocabulary and discover Korean culture and customs as you converse with our native Korean tutor.

We are really excited to be partnering with North Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence to open a K-Hub at Tangaroa College, Otara.

Through this partnership we will be offering $5 Korean Language classes at Tangaroa College on a Monday night from 6pm to 8pm. The next 8-week course starts on July 24th.

You will be taken through the NZ Road Code to learn, practice and understand the information you need to ensure you pass the Road Code Theory Test.

Always wanted to learn to sew? Need to refresh your skills or learn new techniques? In this beginner level course, students will learn the basics of sewing including various stitches and seam finishes, inserting zips and stitching button holes.

Bring a pattern to class and learn how to sew your project. Develop an understanding of the sewing process from cutting out your pattern, to laying it out on fabric and of course putting it all together. Work at your own pace with friendly guidance from our experienced tutor.

The first session will cover the fundamentals of sewing and materials required for the course (e.g. fabric and patterns). If you have a specific project in mind please bring it along with you.

Sewing machines provided. Please bring fabric and pattern if you have one, scissors, thread, pins, etc if you can).

This class opens at 5 pm for anyone able to come early. However all welcome and those who are able to come later are welcome to join at any time before 6.15 pm. The class finishes at 8 pm.

Please note: This course will NOT cover pattern making.
