💚 Happy 7th Birthday, Koru Kids! 💚

7 years... wow! 🥹

Honestly... where has that time gone?!

Today we're celebrating 7 years of Koru Kids. What a journey it's been. We've had some amazing highs, a few pretty tough lows, plenty of challenges, lots of laughs, a few tears, and so many memories that we'll never forget. Every step has helped shape Koru Kids into the little community we love so much today.

To our incredible teaching team – thank you. Thank you for showing up every day with love, patience, kindness, and a whole lot of heart. Thank you for loving our tamariki, supporting each other, and giving so much of yourselves. I appreciate you all more than you'll ever know.

To all of our amazing whānau – thank you for trusting Chris, myself, and our incredible team with your precious tamariki. We know there are lots of choices out there, so the fact that you've chosen Koru Kids means more than you'll ever know. Being part of your tamariki's journey, watching them grow in confidence, build friendships, learn new things, and eventually head off to school is such a privilege.

And to all of our tamariki, past and present... thank you for the cuddles, the giggles, the funny conversations, the messy play, the cheeky moments, and the joy you bring to our centre every single day. You are the reason Koru Kids is what it is.

When we opened our doors seven years ago, we simply wanted to create a safe space and a place that felt like home. A place where tamariki were loved, whānau felt welcome, and everyone felt like they belonged. I hope that's exactly what we've created.

To everyone who's been part of our journey over the last seven years, thank you. Whether you've been with us since day one or you've only recently joined our whānau, you've all helped make Koru Kids the special place it is today.

Happy 7th Birthday, Koru Kids! 💚 Here's to many more years of love, laughter, learning, and growing together.
