♻️ Cardboard + curiosity = learning! ♻️
Our pepi had lots of fun exploring a recycled cardboard box and colourful balls. Through play, they developed hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and problem-solving skills while discovering what happens when the balls go through the holes.

👑✨ Royal Dress-Up Day fun! ✨👑
Our tamariki came dressed in their royal outfits today and had so much fun showing them off! 🤴👸
We even had a little waltz dance, with lots of twirling, dancing, smiles, and laughter. 💃🕺✨
A fun day filled with imagination, confidence, and making special memories together. ❤️

🐝✨ Our little busy bees were hard at work last week!
For World Bee Day, our tamariki learned about bees and got creative making their very own honey bees through painting, gluing, and decorating. 💛🎨
Learning, creating, and having fun together 🐝🌼
Little hands, big learning 🧦✨
Tamariki explored clipping, pe***ng, and stretching as they worked together to “hang the washing” 💛 Strengthening fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving along the way!
This simple play supports Te Whāriki:
🌱 Exploration – figuring out how things work
🌱 Contribution – working together and sharing ideas.
Little throwback.
Our pēpi supported Pink Shirt Day through sensory and creative play 💗
We explored our pink sensory basket filled with loose parts, a cardboard box with pink crepe paper, pink cotton wool balls and pompom balls, along with our pink sensory bottles filled with water and pink glitter. The tamariki enjoyed touching, exploring, shaking, posting, and discovering different textures, sounds, and movements through play.
These experiences support curiosity, sensory development, communication, and fine motor skills while creating opportunities for calm, meaningful exploration together.

Nature became our canvas 🍂🎨
Tamariki explored painting with chalk on tree branches, autumn leaves, and rocks—turning everyday natural treasures into beautiful creations.
As they experimented with textures, colours, and shapes, they strengthened their fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence to express their ideas. There were moments of curiosity, discovery, and connection with the environment 🌿
