So love that we have a fruit and veggie market 2 mornings a week just a short cycle away. No frills or packaging or high overheads makes for affordable and seasonal Kai.

Had a go at making a spring elixir. Sliced lemons, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, honey then another dozen lemons squeezed on top. Popped into the fermenting crock for a week.
It's intense and nothing like a Chia sister's blend but its in the fridge and we can sip away at it each day.

We finally grew tamarrilos ๐Ÿ’š. 12 years, 3 attempts and this one grew from the compost.
The soil is warming up again the greens are thriving and the self seeded calendula are back for spring salad season.
The compost has slowed right down so the worms are working over time trying to keep up their part of the journey from kitchen to soil.
