Does your child have a creative flair? Astro Art Adventures, located at Shiloh Creative Life Centre (117 Arthur Street) is a new after school club for creative kids.

Led by qualified teacher, Naomi from Toland Toolkit there is a choice of programmes - comic art, puppet making and nature art. They are suitable for 7 to 12 year olds, and run from 3.30pm to 5.30pm for 6 weeks at a cost of $240 per programme.

Meet the Teacher 👩‍🏫

Hey there, Naomi here 👋
I’m from Ireland ☘️ and I have spent the last 10years on a quest experiencing and exploring life around the world.

Teaching and traveling in London, Auckland, Costa Rica and Tokyo has allowed me to see education from lots of different points of view, learning what works (and what doesn’t) from different people and places around the globe. That has been the foundation from which was born 🌍

Looking at growth and development through the eyes of the learner. I am on a mission to create engaging learning opportunities that ignite the imagination for learners of any age and I can’t wait to have you join in!

This term’s Character Creation focus will start with the young adventurers reimagining collecting cards to change the landscape.

Our 6 week Tuesday programme will explore designing, drawing and painting to create your final framed piece 🎨

We will also grow our reading and writing skills with comic and zine making as part of our process 📖📝
