Literacy is everywhere in our Centre- through our interactions, indoor, outdoor, and throughout the day play,vincluding block play and painting. We recently had a special visit from our library team,who shared some wonderful stories with children. Today, we explored the underwater world through a fun science activity! π We added blue food colour to water in a glass dish, placed sea-animal pictures underneath, and used glasses to observe them more clearly. πβ¨ A simple, hands-on activity that made learning about the sea exciting and magical! π³ππ¬

β¨π Color Sorting Fun! πβ¨
Today we explored colors through a hands-on sensory activity! I placed colorful pom-poms inside transparent gloves, tied and cut each finger section to make bright little circles. The children had so much fun taking out the colorful pom-poms and matching them with the correct colors. πππβ€οΈ
This simple activity helps develop color recognition, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration while making learning fun and interactive. Watching the children explore, sort, and proudly match each color was such a joyful experience! ππ¨π§€

Who needs a jewellery shop when our tamariki are the designers? π With lots of laughter and teamwork, they created colourful friendship bracelets alongside their peers. Every bracelet was made with care, creativity, and a sprinkle of kindnessβbecause handmade gifts are the best kind! πβ¨

π¦π Roar-some fun today! Our little dinosaur lovers explored different dinosaurs, discovered where they live and what they like to eat, then happily fed them with fresh leaves.
