PJs all day = the best kind of Friday ✨

One year ago, versus now. Our youngest tamariki growing so fast before our eyes, and how lucky are we to be a part of their journey 💙

During this experience we explored textures, creativity, and fine motor skills through a sensory-rich art experience. From scooping and spreading to building and experimenting, this activity encouraged problem-solving, imagination, and joyful discovery — all through play 💛

🚓🚒🚑🚜 Wheels Week has been full of fun, learning, and excitement for our tamariki!
We were lucky to have our emergency services visit and show the children how they help keep our community safe. A big thank you also to one of our wonderful families for bringing in a cool digger for the tamariki to explore!
The children also loved bringing their bikes along for two special riding days in the car park 🚲✨

By allowing infants to move in their own time and in their own way, we support them to build strength, coordination, and confidence naturally. Rather than placing them into positions they can’t yet get into themselves, we honour each stage of development—giving them the space to explore, problem-solve, and truly understand their bodies.
Every roll, reach, and wriggle is meaningful learning 💛

This baking experience was full of mixing, pouring, and plenty of smiles! Along the way, tamariki explored early maths concepts like measuring and counting, built fine motor skills, and practiced turn-taking and teamwork. The best part? Enjoying their delicious creations together 💛👩🏼‍🍳⏲️
