Tickets now on sale!!! With limited seating we have 2 performances (an afternoon 1:30pm and an evening 7pm session) on each day.

Online sales online. No door or Office sales sorry.

Please limit ticket purchases to 4 per family in total to ensure everyone gets the opportunity to attend. If there are extra tickets available, we'll know prior to the event and happy to create a waiting list for those who would like extra tickets. Tickets are not needed for performers or toddlers who are sitting on an adult’s knee.

Please use the Facebook link rather than the Skool Loop link, which is currently not working.

Here’s a wee clip of our kapa haka rōpu practising today. We are so proud of you all! Ngā mihi nui to their kaiako Ngāhuia and Whaea Hinehau and to all of our support staff who went in to awhi today.

WEEK 8 - What’s Up at ABS this Week?

📅 Every Sunday we will post a graphic with information on what’s happening at Ashburton Borough School for the week ahead.

📅 It includes our weekly Positive Behaviour Focus (this is the focus for our end of the week Kindness Cupcake).

📅 We also have a ‘Photo of the Week’ as selected by staff and students. This week we have Year 4s up to Year 7s all having fun together at lunchtime.

ZOOMANIA - Production Sneak Peak!

“Five friends have spent a day at the zoo. They are taking a group photo in front of a big zoo sign before leaving the zoo just at closing time. Billy disappears. The others assume he has gone to the toilet. After waiting for a while they all go to the toilet area to find him. They call out, bang on the door etc…but he has vanished. Suddenly the lights go off. Jill screams and then produces a torch from her huge bag of survival gear…”

🧁 🧁 🧁 Well done to our tamariki who were nominated by their teachers to receive a ‘kindness cupcake’. This week, we were focusing on:
-Doing the right thing, even when no one is watching (Integrity)

Wendy Atkinson, Harakeke’s (ABS Lagmhor)Year 4-6 teacher was nominated as the recipient of the Kaiako Cupcake. Lorraine nominated Mrs Atkinson for all the time and effort that she has put into the Production. We agree with Lorraine and are so grateful to have Mrs Atkinson’s expertise!

We were very privileged today to have 3 students from Ashburton College come along to help judge our year 7 and 8 speeches. We love connecting with our college whānau at any opportunity! Congrats to Annie McDonald and Gab Ungab on moving on to the Rotary Speech Competition.
