Our Playcentre whānau is taking part in the Starship Big Bake Off fundraiser, and we’d love your support 💛

Starship holds a special place in the hearts of many of our families. Several of our tamariki have spent time in Starship’s care over the years, including one of our own Playcentre children, Harrison, who needed life-saving heart surgery at just 5 days old.

We know firsthand the difference Starship makes for children and families facing incredibly difficult times, and we’re proud to be giving back through this fundraiser.

Every donation, big or small, helps Starship continue providing world-class care and support for children across Aotearoa.

We are so excited to open our doors for another term of play-based adventures at Mt Somers Staveley Playcentre!
Whether you’re a returning family or looking for a new "village" to join, Term 2 is all about Whanaungatanga – growing and learning together. If you think Playcentre might be just what you're looking for, feel free to pop in during a session and we can show you around. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am - 12pm, 50 Pattons Road in Mt Somers Village.

Little hands were busy creating today with playdough and woodworking tools 💛

Through hands-on play, our tamariki built fine motor skills, confidence, and problem-solving skills alongside friends 🌿
