Run out of the Ashburton Borough School Performance Centre, our OSCAR programme offers a range of fun activities for children aged 5-13 years. Our after school care provides homework supervision and afternoon tea in a safe, caring environment with a adult 1:10 child ratio with a charge of $14 per session regular booking or $16 for casual. Our school holiday programme runs 5 days a week from 8.30 -

Our Story
OSCAR stands for 'Out of School Care and Recreation'. It is a term that has been widely adopted in New Zealand to describe services that provide regular care for school age children (5 – 13 year olds) outside school hours; that is, after school and during the school holidays.
OSCAR programmes are more than child-minding services. They are opportunities to provide leisure and recreation activities that not only enrich the child but also enrich family life and enhance learning done at school.
