Kia Ora Hampstead whanau!!
Welcome back to school for 2024!! I'm sure there are many children ready to get back to seeing their friends, and many parents perhaps breathing a sigh of relief! Well done parents you made it through the holidays!!! 🤣
Big ups to the teachers that have no doubt been preparing for tomorrow for the last few weeks, to those new and to those returning!! .
We had a number of our PTA clan hang up their shoes at the end of last year, with kids moving on to intermediate, and while the last of us still have a few years in us (I have 7 left at Hampstead 😳😳🙈🤣) we are searching for parents and friends of the school just like you - yes YOU to join us for 2024!! Those of us left can't do it on our own and we NEED you!! 🙏🙏
Think of everything you have heard about the PTA and put all that information in a bubble and send it away because we are not scary, we will not give you a job, and you don't have to do anything other than come and take a break from kids and family for an hour or so twice a term (week 1 and 6), we have a laugh, we drink tea/coffee/water what ever you prefer 😊 and we support the school and our children to build a community that benefits all of us!
- Did your kids live the disco last year? - PTA
- We help off-set costs to make things cheaper for all our families!
- Kids love the new Scooters for the Scooter track? - also the PTA! Who knew!!
So if you want to make a difference in your child's schooling and time at Hampstead, if you just need to escape the house for an hour or so and want a free coffee, if you want to meet parents just like you then we want to meet you!!
