We were so privileged today to have a parent and author of a new book called “Explore with me Mid Canterbury “ come and share the story with us.
What an incredible job Mary has done on this beautifully illustrated book about all the places to visit in Mid Canterbury.
What a perfect resource to have. If you would like to purchase a copy go to www.explorewithme.co.nz or paper plus and our local art gallery.

Ice Discovery
Today our tamariki made an exciting discovery — pieces of ice left behind from the wee storm yesterday. They eagerly collected it all up and brought it together to investigate. We provided droppers and coloured dye, which the children used to explore what happened when the colours mixed with the ice.
This experience encouraged curiosity, experimentation, and working theories as the tamariki observed the changes and shared their discoveries with one another. It was wonderful to see their excitement as they explored nature’s creations in such a hands-on way.
