Pasifika Parents Support Group Newsletter - 2nd Edition

Kia ora koutou,

A reminder that our Pasifika Parent Support Group meeting is happening tonight at 5:00 PM at Ashburton College.

The purpose of this group is to work together to support the success, achievement and well-being of our Pacific students. While the college has introduced a number of initiatives to support our Pacific learners, we know that stronger and more consistent support can be achieved when families, students, the school and the wider community work together.

Your voice, ideas and involvement are invaluable as we build a stronger and more connected network for our young people.

Everyone is welcome to attend, especially if you feel you would like to be part of this group and contribute to supporting our Pacific students and families.

We look forward to seeing you there tonight. 💙

Maori/Pasifika Trade Secrets BCITO
We are pleased to announce that we will again be hosting the Māori/Pasifika Trade Secrets event, run by BCITO.
Event Details:
- Date: 10th of June (TOMORROW)
- Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Location: Ashburton College Rangitatia Block
- Note: Food will be provided.

The aim of this event is to engage our Māori and Pasifika students and whānau by highlighting opportunities in the building and construction industry, as well as the support available through BCITO. This event is open to students, staff, and the wider community.
