EVENING CLEANING POSITION AVAILABLE

We are searching for a reliable, organised and efficient person to work during the weekday evenings to clean our preschool. Must be fit and able with an attention to detail.

Approximately 10hrs a week in total starting immediately.
Note: we are closed for two weeks over the Christmas period so no cleaning will be required

🌱 NURSERY KAIAKO WITH THE HEART TO LEAD 🌱

We are searching for a very special kaiako to lead our Nursery.

QUALIFIED ECE KAIAKO

Bloomfields Preschool is looking for an exceptional qualified kaiako to join our team working predominately with our 2-3.5 year old tamariki.

The moment you arrive at Bloomfields you will see and feel the difference. We are owner operated and have an amazing rural centre in Broomfield, North Canterbury. Our philosophy is centred around Aroha, Respect and Discovery. Our team culture reflects solid professional relationships, a sense of humour, and passion with a belief that children and their families are a priority and their education and care is paramount.

The right candidate will be in love with their profession, have enthusiasm and common sense and enjoy working and contributing to our extraordinary centre and our team of outstanding staff. This person must be flexible and adaptable with the ability to identify children’s unique strengths and interests.

The position is full time (40hrs a week) between the hours of 8am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The position starts in late May 2023

EDUCATION SUPPORT WORKER at Bloomfields Preschool

We are looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and fun individual who has experience working with tamariki with higher levels of learning needs.

The position is for 4 hours a week which will be spread over 2 days. It is a fixed term contract which starts on the 23rd of January 2023 and ends the 6th of April 2023 (extensions to this will be granted by the Ministry of Education)

The Education Support Worker will need to:
- Implement aspects of the Individual Plan, using strategies that have been agreed by the team
- Support inclusion in centre activities, routines and celebrations
- Respond to the day to day professional guidance of the centre teaching staff
- Be available to the teaching team and other children, as appropriate, and function as a member of the centre team as much as possible
- Contribute information to the teaching teams ongoing assessment and planning for the child
