St Gerards Primary School - Alexandra

Yesterday, on a glorious winter's day, our whole school headed up Boot Hill to collect pinecones as part of our outreach.

A huge thank you to Father Brendan, who kindly donated the collection bags. Together, our students collected more than 50 bags of pinecones! These will be offered free of charge to parishioners at church and shared with members of our wider community.

It was wonderful to see everyone working so hard and, in particular, to witness the conversations and connections between our senior and junior students as they worked together.

Principal’s Award winners shining bright at today’s assembly 🌟
Huge congratulations to our incredible recipients, we’re so proud of you! We also presented our Athletics Cups, well done to all our champions on their fantastic efforts.
We also presented our holiday photo competition winners! Well done.
Our choir topped it off with a beautiful performance that made the whole celebration even more special. Performance in comments.

Last Wednesday at Mass, we welcomed our new five-year-olds, along with new families and students from across the school, into our St Gerard’s community.

Why are we fundraising?
St Gerards School is fundraising to cover the remaining costs of Year 3–8 camps. These camps have already taken place, and the cost was reduced for all families in anticipation of this fundraising. Funds raised will meet the outstanding expenses.
