COEC

COEC COEC is a library for member schools in the lower part of the South Island through provision of classroom resources.

Our collection caters for Home Schooling, Early Childhood, Primary, and Intermediate levels encompassing all areas of the curriculum. COEC operates a resource library for member schools throughout the lower part of the South Island, and sells educational resources throughout New Zealand. The Central Otago Education Centre works in partnership with educators to facilitate access and knowledge thro

ugh the provision of classroom resources. The library resource collection caters for Early Childhood, Primary, Intermediate and Junior Secondary levels, and encompasses all areas of the curriculum. To borrow resources, simply become a member for a single annual fee, then you can borrow as many items as required. Items are issued for a full term so plenty of time to get the most out the the resources. These can either be collected on site during opening hours, or from another designated collection point in Alexandra. Alternatively, we can arrange a courier option. Opening hours are extended during the school holidays - keep an eye on our website and pages for updates.

Thursday 26th January Change of hours - COEC was going to be closed this Thursday, but it will now be open 3pm to 5pm. I'm taking resources to Cromwell on Thursday morning. If you want me to bring some resources there for you, please just email [email protected] before noon on Wednesday. Video is of the Gravitrax set. I made this wee run myself. So much fun, and very satisfying. Not to mention the thinking involved - I think this could be popular as a G&T activity. COEC has two Gravitrax sets, both are still available for Term 1.
