Pawlit - reflective dog collars

A Year 13 Business Studies class has created Pawlit, a range of reflective dog collars made from recycled climbing rope and reflective materials generously donated by local companies.

Our collars are designed to help keep dogs visible and safe while also giving new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste.
By purchasing a collar, you're supporting a student-run business and a more sustainable future.

A huuuuge mihi to the Dunstan High School Formal Committee for their incredibly generous donation of $800 to our organisation 🫶

This year, the committee chose CYD as the recipients of $5 from every formal ticket sold, and we are so grateful for their support. Not only does this contribution make a real difference to the opportunities and experiences we can provide for local rangatahi, but it also reflects the values of generosity and community that we love to see in our rangatahi 🤩

To everyone involved in organising the formal, purchasing a ticket, and making this donation possible – THANK YOU šŸ™ Your tautoko means more than you know, and we are honoured to have been chosen 🩵

A huge congratulations to Taylor Potter and Bridey Sangster who have been selected to play for the Wakatipu Wild a New Zealand Women's Ice Hockey league team from Queenstown & the southern region. These two girls have put in countless hours on and off the ice, traveling to Queenstown every week for training, and it’s awesome to see their hard work paying off. They are heading off to Auckland on Saturday to play the Auckland Steel, we wish them all the best for their game this weekend and for the rest of the season.

WE PLACED 2ND AT SHOWQUEST!

What an amazing performance from our incredible team! Dunstan High School took the stage by storm, and we couldn’t be prouder to bring home the 2nd Place trophy!

The talent on display was undeniable, and the judges noticed!

Along with our overall podium finish, we also received:
⭐ Excellence in Culture ⭐ Excellence in Art ⭐ Recognition in Dance

To all of the students involved—from the performers lighting up the stage to the crew working magic behind the scenes—thank you for your hard work and endless energy.

And of course, to our amazing school community and supportive families: thank you for being the ultimate cheer squad and supporting these students every step of the way. We couldn't have done it without you! šŸ’™ā¤ļø
