Congratulations to our student Talia, who was the number one qualifier for her 100m heat at the NZ Track and Field Nationals. Her incredible time of 11.76 seconds has enabled her to qualify for the World Juniors to be hosted in Cali, Columbia and the Oceania Permit Champs in Australia later this year.

Her final race saw her finish with her personal best time of 11.50 seconds which is faster than the current NZ record! Well done Talia on being the speediest 15 year old in NZ!

She also won her 100mH hurdle race with another personal best! She was also selected to be in the Auckland u18 4x100m relay team, who did amazingly well with a gold medal & Auckland record ( to be confirmed

Well done to our student Hannah who achieved top place in New Zealand for her Pre-Elementary Ballet examination late last year. This is such a significant achievement and we are all very proud of her 👏😊

The City Impact Arts Academy and Teacher Meggan are to be commended for their excellence and dedication to the development of our students.

Recently we had the opportunity to give one of our senior students, Grace Watson a special award for her exceptional results in Media Studies in the 2020 Cambridge International AS Level examinations. Grace was recognised for “High Achievement” for this subject in New Zealand, which was also a reflection of her hard work, academic flair and subject expertise.

Grace would have been presented with her award at the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards Ceremony Dinner in Auckland but due to COVID-19 this was unable to take place.

We were delighted for Grace to be acknowledged internationally for her hard work and also wished to acknowledge Teacher Bianca who has received official affirmation for all that she is sowing into the students in their work and personal growth.
