"Picturesque, animal-friendly, and peaceful" 🌿🐾
These were the three words that Lizzo used to describe her first impression of Auckland upon starting at Massey University College. Beyond its beautiful scenery, the city's diverse community makes it easy to meet people from all over the world. Students often find that shared curiosity about different cultures helps spark new friendships and meaningful conversations.

Last Friday Massey University College joined forces with the Massey University - Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa team to bring Pink Shirt Day to life in style 👚
Our cupcake decorating activity drew a crowd, and it was inspiring to watch students and staff dive into the fantastic resources shared by the Pink Shirt Day organisation.
This movement continues to open important conversations with our students about kindness, inclusion, and taking a stand against bullying.

We sat down with student ambassador Arya, who shared her experience studying at Massey University College 📝
Arya is currently part of the English for Academic Purposes program, designed to help students build confidence and succeed in an academic English-speaking environment. Outside the classroom, she balances part-time work with evening activities, all while building friendships and expanding her social circle.
Her advice for future students? “Enjoy the ride and don’t stress too much.”
