Our 90+ Settlers took a delightful trip down memory lane this week as Settler and former teacher Lyn Bishop reunited us with the Class of 1935.

There was plenty of laughter, storytelling, and reminiscing as our "Settlers kids" from the 1930s shared memories of playground games, school days, treasured friendships, and a world so different from today.

What a privilege it is to hear these stories and celebrate the remarkable lives, experiences, and memories of our wonderful residents. ❤️

We are so fortunate at Settlers to have a tribe of tūī fluttering around our gardens. Gary captured this beautiful visitor enjoying a morning bath, a delightful reminder of the nature that surrounds us every day. 🖤💚

It was our absolute privilege to host three choirs and Barbershop, with 122 Westlake Girls High School students sharing their beautiful music, energy, and enthusiasm.

The King’s Birthday was celebrated in style with Karen Davy as Dolly Parton. What a fabulous afternoon of entertainment! With her amazing voice, infectious energy, and plenty of Dolly charm, Karen had everyone singing along and enjoying a truly memorable show.

Our photography group’s latest pop-up installation, 'Shadows', showcases how light and shadow can add depth, mood, and mystery to an image. We are so spoilt to have such talented photographers in our village.

We were delighted to welcome the wonderful Jan Beaumont to the village to share her light-hearted poetry. How special that Jan has also published her own book for us all to continue enjoying.

Tuesday afternoons are for Mahjong time with friends! 🀄️ One of our longest-running and most loved groups, where strategy, laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of chatter are always on the table. A wonderful way to keep minds sharp and friendships strong.
