Week 6 Highlights at NSS

This past week was filled with meaningful moments and proud achievements for our school community.

During our school assembly, we celebrated International Women’s Day by honoring the incredible women in our community. With this year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” students and staff were reminded of the powerful impact women have in shaping families, communities, and society. Our guest speakers shared inspiring messages about the importance of women’s contributions, leadership, and resilience, encouraging everyone to support and uplift women in all areas of life.

At the same time, our NSS Debate Team proudly represented the school at a debate organized by the Nauru Electoral Commission. The students performed exceptionally well, demonstrating confidence, critical thinking, and teamwork. We are proud to announce that NSS Team 1 has advanced to the finals, where they will compete against the DFAT Team.

Congratulations to our debaters for their outstanding effort, and thank you to everyone who helped make the International Women’s Day celebration a meaningful and inspiring event. We wish our debate team the very best as they head into the finals!
