2 Fully Funded PhD Positions — Universiti Malaysia Terengganu
The REVIVE Project, funded by the Global Centre on Biodiversity for Climate (GCBC), is offering two fully funded PhD-by-Research positions at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).
🌍 Open to all nationalities
💰 Stipend: RM3,000/month for 36 months
🎓 Tuition: Covered until June 2029
📅 Deadline: 31 August 2026
🚀 Start: September/October 2026
🔬 PhD 1: Blue carbon, silvicultural dynamics & mangrove value chains at Matang Mangrove Forest Reserve.
🔬 PhD 2: Mangrove restoration, carbon stocks & ecotourism value chains in Setiu Wetlands.
The projects are co-supervised by researchers from UMT and the University of Manchester, UK.
