Significant discussion over the today's visa Meeting conducted in Marriott:
1 Scholarship, college, and COA are irrelevant
2. In your second attempt, don't answer with something like "I changed my university from this," as that won't work. Instead, provide a significant change, like a slightly lower COA, a higher English test score, a better SAT score, etc.
3. Avoid answering with something like "I will get the chance to learn things more practically in the USA," as indicated by a straight VO.
4 Be sincere in your explanation of your financial situation because VO'S stated that they are aware of our county's GDP.
5 Avoid creating fictitious documentation.
6 Your visa won't be affected if you have US relatives.
7 Talk about your siblings openly
8 complete the DS 160 form on your own to prevent errors
9 Some new VOs will be seen after the summer.
10 For those who received a pink slip, the decision-making process could take anything from two days to several months.
11 VOs have no issues with your course or university.
12 On your second try, you can alter your direction, but you should be prepared with a compelling response.
13 Computer science is an option for bio students, but you should have a good reason for it.
14 Students' visas are not valid for the emergency slots.
15 There will be visa slots available, but not everyone will be able to secure one owing to overwhelming demand.
16 You can apply with a dependent, but you must have sufficient income to cover both costs.
17 You can apply for EDV without thinking things through.
18 If you are a UG student, you can continue your studies in the US for a master's degree (you can tell them about it without hesitation)
19 GAP year is irrelevant, even if it lasts for 20 years or more.
20. Don't replicate other people's responses; be honest about your sponsor's income;
21. Don't schedule an appointment by making a false SEVIS ID; you risk being barred indefinitely;

Troy University Introduces Mandatory $1,000 Deposit Fee for international students

We would like to bring to your attention that Troy university introduces $1000 enrollment deposit to Issue the I20 FALL 2024 and future Intakes.

Key Details:
50% of this deposit will go towards the student’s tuition for their 1st semester and the other 50% for their 2nd semester’s tuition.
The deposit will be refunded if the student’s visa gets denied or if the student fails to obtain their visa after their 2nd deferral.
Students will forfeit this deposit if they transfer out or simply do not show up to campus.

Some updates on USA visa info sessions:

Additional visa appointments will be available very soon.

New visa officers will be introduced to enhance processing capacity and accommodate more applicants.

Appointments can be rescheduled up to 10 times.

No universities are blacklisted, and as long as applicants convince VO's of their genuine student status, they will obtain their visas.

Changing major and university does not significantly impact your visa application.
COA is not a determining factor for visas, but applicants must explain how they'll manage expenses during their stay in the USA.

Buying/selling or exchanging visa appointments is not permitted.
