Fighting reality doesnβt change it. π€Ί
It just costs you energy.
Now I ask: change it or accept it.
And move accordingly. π₯·

How exhausting is it trying to be a version of yourself that everyone wants to see? π₯±
Iβve spent years trying to edit and filter myself into something people would understand correctly. π§πΌββοΈ
Not because I didnβt lose myself. Not because I didnβt know who I was.
But because being perceived through other peopleβs projections is exhausting. π§
Eventually I realised there is no final version of yourself that escapes judgement. You can explain yourself perfectly and people will still translate you through their own lens.
So I stopped asking myself what version of me would be accepted.
And started asking:
What feels authentic for me right now?
And right nowβ
itβs creating.
After years of friends telling me to do it, Iβm finally launching my podcast.

Some people donβt want others to understand their pain, they want others to experience their pain. And then there are those who simply want others to understand their pain. π§πΌββοΈ
The difficult truth is that both can keep us trapped in the same cycle: replaying conversations, imagining explanations, and trying to get people to finally see what they did. π§ π«Άπ»πΆββοΈ
But pain isnβt always asking for resolution. Sometimes itβs asking for growth. π₯·
Sometimes moving forward is as simple as writing down one boundary, one lesson, or one action and committing to it. ποΈ π
The people who hurt you donβt deserve to occupy your mind forever. Your future is worth more than their opinions. ππ§ π«Άπ»
Whatβs one difficult experience youβve been through recently that ultimately made you stronger?

Can we normalize not judging people by their appearance and connect through the commonality of suffering instead? π§πΌββοΈπ
Every person you meet is carrying a story you cannot see. Beneath race, status, beauty, success, and identity is a shared human experience: struggle, loss, uncertainty, pain, and the desire to be understood.
Everybody has π© behind close doors & just because you think someone is physically attractive it doesnβt mean their life is. π€·ββοΈ some bizarre mentally going around social media rnβ¦ π
Compassion begins when we stop reducing people to what we see on the surface and start recognizing ourselves in one another. π½π§πΌββοΈ
I know so many people who on the surface present as attractive, talented, smart individuals whoβre going through traumas some of you will never even be able to comprehend in your entire life timeβ¦ Things going on behind closed doors that people choose to keep private. π
I want to start seeing some respect for the commonality of suffering on hereβ¦ ππ₯·

How can we use anger to motivate change? There is compassionate anger often a process we go through in trauma integration where we are angry at the world but this motivates us to seek change and then there is un integrated trauma which results in jealousy, bitterness, projection, deflection and cruelty. π
This is what real emotional awareness looks like. π
Anger isnβt the problem β itβs what we do with it. When itβs integrated, anger can become clarity, direction, and a force that pushes us toward justice, truth, and change. π
But when it isnβt processed, it can leak out as harm β jealousy, projection, defensiveness, and behaviours that recreate the very pain we havenβt made sense of yet. πΆββοΈ
Compassionate anger is not destruction β itβs transformation. It says βthis mattersβ and refuses to stay passive in the face of suffering.
Iβll be talking more about this in my podcast next month 31/07 ποΈ

Compassion is the basic motivation to address suffering wisely and for that we are required to be brave and overcome the bystander effect and our survival instincts to protect ourselves from the firing line. π
This is what real compassion is. π
In real life, compassion is not passive understanding β it becomes action. It means choosing to respond when you witness harm or abuse, even when it feels uncomfortable, inconvenient, or socially risky. π
Active empathy asks us to move beyond observation and into responsibility β to not look away when it would be easier to do so. πΆββοΈ
We are all shaped by survival instincts, but compassion is what interrupts that pattern and brings us back into conscious choice.
Silence can become participation. And real compassion breaks that cycle π§π
