he school has attempted to provide quality education for rural, poor and back warded students. Those who were rich they could go to the cities like Kathmandu, Pokhara etc for education. But poor people couldn’t afford for this. When we heard such feelings of local people we were inspired to establish a school and provide quality education of international level. As a result we endured many hazards to reach to this success. Education Situation before establishing the school
At the time we established school in Dhampus very few people had passed the SLC examination. Our school was compelled to bring teachers from other villages and Pokhara. Youths of school age did not get environment to get education before establishing RAS. Thought the children were sent to a government school, they did not get proper environment. It was very hard for them to be successful in examination. Only few of them reached up to certificate level. PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURES OF THE SCHOOL
With the school being successful to complete its 10 glorious years, the infrastructures like building, playground, and many other things are improved. Dhampus is a place which is surrounded by forests. The settlement is limited. It is located to the northwest of Pokhara valley. Pokhara is the headquarter of Kaski district. The school building consists of a L-Shaped newly build building. There are 8 rooms which are really good for learning. The wall of the building is made up of blocks joined by cement. The rooms are not so much spacey but good enough. The playground is nice and well managed. Though the infrastructure is not sufficient the school has tried to provide quality education. A library room and computer lab room is necessary. Because of lack of some essential infrastructures, the students are facing much difficulty. Achievements of the School
The school continually provided quality education to the local children for ten years. The students who were sent up from this school have become very successful in further education as well as further life. Those who got primary education in this school passed SLC examination very easily with good marks. Their knowledge in English language is much better than the students in other villages. Now there are many persons in Dhampus who have passed SLC examination and who are in college level. Those who got primary education from this school have become successful in life too. For searching a teachers and skilled persons, now, it is not necessary to go to other places. There are many people who are educated and qualified to be teacher. People who got primary education here are involved in different sectors. In this way the school has become like a lotus in mud. As the lotus blossoms in muddy place, the school also has given good education to needy people. To provide the education of this school guardians from a distant also send their children to this school though there are other schools near their house. The school has become an attraction for the people. PROBLEMS OF THE SCHOOL
Though the school has undergone ten years with many successes, it has its own difficulties. The school is in a rented land. The students are crammed in narrow rooms. The rooms are not well ventilated. The tin roof is not bold enough to withstand the power of winds. Therefore the students and the teachers are annoyed by extreme heat of the tin at day time. In such situation also, students are getting quality education because of hard effort of management committee, teachers, students and guardians. Plea of the School
Because of all these problems and difficulties the students and school and teachers are undergoing, we request you to support in constructing library, computer lab, school building, teaching learning materials, etc. Moreover the school wants to do any of these works in partnership too. The students from rural, back warded and poor economic background study in this school. For benefit of such back warded students you can afford in scholarship programme, library or any other thing. Your little help can change the life of many rural children with nothing but the world to conquer for these amazing souls.
