The foundation was established by the able leadership of experienced and dedicated luminaries. Over the last 25 years, the school has been serving the nation as a part of society. bilee celebration in this year 2062. In these last glorious 25 years, the school has been a hallmark of quality education in Pokhara valley. The school is situated at the heart of Pokhara city at Matepani, Pokhara-12, Kaski. At HPHS, it is aimed to establish a culture in which our students develop a passion for learning that will serve their needs throughout and beyond school. We wish to promote the pursuit of excellence and achievement by every student to enable them to make the very best of their abilities and skills. The school has intended to create and maintain an ethos that encourages high standards of self reliance, co-operation, enthusiasm towards moral values. In order to maximize the learning experience, the school aims to maintain a civilized, caring and disciplined community in which the students are taught about their responsibilities towards themselves,family,community and the nation. The school always endeavors to develop clear moral and spiritual values in our pupils. The school has a strong commitment and vision to provide a rich and broad education to the students and a curriculum that contains skills, values, concepts and experiences that give our young ones clear opportunities to progress and gain success as they move through the school. At HPHS, we have high expectation and the school has set outstanding SLC results. We view ourselves as a learning community and will continue to explore ways of building on our previous success in order to enhance the learning experience of all our students. This will involve harnessing modern technologies and employing creative and innovative learning and teaching approaches within a lively, stimulating and demanding environment. The school has been set up with the over all objective of providing quality education to limited number of pupils in a most congenial environment. With motto " education, development and civilization" it endeavors to motivate the students to set and achieve objectives in life which are higher, nobler, sublime and spread like the radiance of the light around the world. The school believes that each child has inherent ability to excel in some sphere of life. It thus, aims at providing an environment where these imbibed creative potentials are exposed. The school always strives for sustained academic growth and development of the students with the aim of making them capable of shouldering load of higher education with ease and confidence.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, our students enthusiastically participated in the Charity Run organized by Doko Recyclers. With the inspiring initiative of planting one tree for every five runners, the event beautifully combined fitness with environmental responsibility.

We are especially proud of our students who successfully completed the challenging 6KM race and earned eco-friendly medals by securing a place among the Top 100 finishers. Their determination, endurance, and commitment to a meaningful cause truly made them environmental champions.
