Our Story
Yogasamskriti, the school of pure classical and traditional yoga.
Thousands of years ago, the Rishis (sages) confined themselves in caves in the sacred Himalayan mountains to explore and prepare their bodies and minds, in order to understand the workings of nature and the cosmos, to ultimately find liberation. They put the result of their investigations and experiments into a system and called it Yoga. They offered it as a gift to all humanity beings, as a complete, holistic way of living - seeking the meaning of life and striving to end suffering, for themselves and others.
Modern technologies today are able to detect the physiological effects of the yogic methods. Its beneficial effects has been scientifically proven. Those teachings are increasingly adopted by mainstream healthcare practitioners and applied in medical and psychological treatments.
We are the heirs of this sacred teaching and we wish to bear it to the modern world. Yogasamskriti School and Research Center is a sincere endeavour to deliver this wisdom of ancient yogic traditions. We provide our students with teachings of classical Hatha yoga (physical training) and Dhyana (meditation) in collaboration with dedicated yoga teachers, researchers and therapists from all over the world.
