We’re excited to launch our RAIN Mapping Sprint 2026 to enhance OpenStreetMap data in climate-vulnerable municipalities of Madhesh Province.
Better open data means better preparedness, faster response, and stronger resilience for communities facing climate risks.

This initiative is part of the 𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍 (𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐥) Programme, funded by UK in Nepal, led by People in Need Nepal, co-led by DCA Nepal , and supported by partners Community Self Reliance Centre (CSRC) , Prerana - Support Group for Participatory Development, LI-BIRDko Chautari (ली-बर्डको चौतारी), Youth Innovation Lab, Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre , and Met Office .
