Happy Deepawali from Shivalay Family 🪔

This celebration is one of the most valued in Nepal and symbolizes light winning over darkness.

Light being a synonym of knowledge and consciousness. In sanscrit this festival is called; Deepawali. This festival carries the concept of the spiritual victory of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, light over darkness.

What a blessing to be reminded of 🙏🏽☀️

Deepawali is made of two words;

Deep and Avali, meaning lights and ROWS, so together it means rows of lights. When sunset is closing in we put rows of lights around the homes. Celebration takes place in the month of Ashwin and continues into the month of Kartik according to the lunar calendar.

In Hindu culture everyday is a celebration, each and every celebration is here to remind us about important life concepts.

and away from our NO.

After our beautiful retreat last October in the Himalayan Jungles we felt an immediate instinct to continue the same path and to offer you even more majesty allowing the mystery of mighty himalayas to work upon us.

(This is a chance to come into conversation with our wild self again.)

Join us for two weeks exploring the wild skirts of Mama Nepal.

Starting this journey together in beautiful Kathmandu, 

During these 3 days exploring beautiful streets and temples, bathing in the sounds of Tibetan gongs and singing bowls allowing our body to properly land and receive the gifts of this land.

From Kathmandu with our local guide we will start our trek MardiHimal 5,587 m

During the 5 day trek you get the 
spectacular views, authentic village and wildlife..

You will get eye to eye with the giant peaks of Annapurna Mountain Range. 

Connecting with our breath, in beautiful and clean surroundings is such a blessing.

To integrate all messages that Mama Himalaya has whispered to us. 

We will settle for the last few days in our jungle, immersed in beautiful green wild nature, monkeys and wise lake, home grown food, and each other, practising Kundalini and Hatha yoga, before we are ready to bravely move to our new unknown path remembering love, magic and our purpose.
