Did you know that Nepal, a country with a diverse geography and a population of around 29 million, still faces significant challenges with tuberculosis (TB), one of its top ten causes of death? Despite improvements in TB incidence ratesβfrom 417 to 229 cases per 100,000 from 2000 to 2023βthe disease remains a major public health concern, especially in rural and high-risk populations.
