Graduation and Closing Ceremony of Nabil School of Social Entrepreneurship - 4th Cohort.
The 4th cohort of NSSE program has been successfully completed and the trainee were graduated with certification on April 26, 2025 at LA La Grandee International College in presence of Chief Guest, Mr. Santosh Bastola (Ward Chairperson, PMC-12), Special Guest, Advocate Gita Lamichhane (Founder, Aama Agro Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Hari Dhakal, Province Head-Nabil Bank Gandaki, chaired by the college Principal Er. Kiran K.C. The program was coordinated by faculty Mr. Amrit Paudel, hosted by participant Dhiraj Thapa and witnessed by managers and representatives from Nabil Bank various branches and media person.

LA GRANDEE, being the only center of Gandaki Province for the NSSE program, has been in collaboration with the esteemed Nabil Bank for last 2 years and coordinating the 3 months' Social Entrepreneurship Training, both serving as part of its CSR.

The next cohort (5th) is going to start soon and the application is open for registration. Any Nepali individual who wants to build social entrepreneurial skills my join.

WORKTABLE-4 was carried out by Mr. Mandip Puri & guest appearance Mr. Dinanath Tiwari from Nabil Bank; pushed the worktable through practical verifications through making business plan and presenting for investment process to thrive out the trainee's potential by making participants do make the business proposal and communicate it with investors and ask for investing by convincing them for the business; for the worktable under different business ideas relating with sustainable practices and SMART goals of different business/ social Entrepreneurship; at NABIL SSE Certificate Course-LA Grandee International College.

Worktable-3: Goal Setting & Planning for Future
Resource Person: Suresh Paudel (Gandaki Province Branch Head- Interior Design Studio by Solution Group- Baral Petrol Pump) & Amrit Paudel (NSSE- Coordinator; LA GRANDEE International College)
The session was fundamentally led by Mrs. Saru Tiwari; pushed the worktable through practical examples & fundamental knowledge about what is Goal?, why do we need to set goals for any organization?, Potentials of Goal and challenges as well as discussed about types of goals, patterns in goals, situations & Mr. Amrit Paudel led the Worktable to set their goals and plan to accomplish their goal with time bound on individual basis to find out the trainee's entrepreneurial 'SMART' goal under different business ideas relating with sustainable development of business; at NABIL SSE Certificate Course-LA Grandee International College.

Feild Visit - Day 11

Session: Feild Visit 2
The Field Visit took off from LA GRANDEE International College under supervision of Mr. Amrit Paudel took the route to Shanti Deep-16, Pokhara at Harilo Agro Industry and had the observation with the little tour around and learning about pickle factory. Also had a tour inside the industry with having the observation at the process, machinery and product: from starting to finish with a vision for upcoming entrepreneurs content with a production quality, improvement in production, increasing income through agro products; while observing we could find agriculture production with a step towards commercialization concept at "Harilo Agro Industry" from owner & entrepreneur Mr. Prakash Acharya; NABIL SSE Certificate Course-LA Grandee International College.

Session 1: Social Impact of Your Enterprise
Resource Person: Bimal Bastola (Chief Executive Officer-Green Road Waste management- New-road)
Session 2: Writing a Funding Proposal & Developing a Pitch Deck
Resource Person: Pradeep Pahari (Branch Manager-Nabil Bank; Pokhara Branch)
The session of writing a funding proposal was fundamentally led by Mr. Pradeep Pahari sir under which we discussed about what is Funding Proposal?, why do we need to know about it?, How funding proposal communicates and further more. Also discussed about projected report for new and audited report for running business and how the numbers of sales, cost of goods sold, interest and more is calculated. What contents needs to be included in business funding proposal and more were discussed. while 2nd session from Mr. Bimal Bastola took the height of Social Impact in the market by any organization which was easily visible through the concept & content as discussed on the topic of "Plastic: problem or solution?, its reuses and different uses available and more were discussed at session; NABIL SSE Certificate Course- LA Grandee International College.

Worktable-2: Understanding Sustainable Development Goal
Resource Person: Kalpana Jyanwali (Program Manager- Nepal Red Cross Society/ Researcher)
The session from program Manager of Nepal Red Cross Society- Gandaki Province Mrs. Kalpana Jyanwali pushed the worktable through fundamental understandings along with examples & practical verifications of sustainable development goals that government has been pushing to thrive out the entrepreneur's potential under different business ideas; Also discussed 17 sustainable goals led by government with step to step of Nepal which is still ongoing till 2030 to balance Social, economic & Environmental Sustainability. Another slot of the worktable was how to carry out any project; was thoroughly discussed with every step to understand and follow while handling any project til its completion and finally presentation from the participants along with their project relating with 17 sustainable goals at NABIL SSE Certificate Course-LA Grandee International College.

Resource Person: Sr. Officer Sagar Shrestha (Tourism Board of Nepal- Gandaki Province)
Session 2: Legal Structures & Taxation
Resource Person: Anil Lamichhane CA (CAAN- Gandaki Province)
The session by Sr. Officer Mr. Sagar Shrestha set off by branding process, how branding works? The word brand itself is a valuable word, and marketing means an influencing the trust for anything provided with. while working at Tourism Board of Nepal - Gandaki Province has different approach for marketing; how to make our place known in a very special way so that tourism flourish and making a safe, sustainable tourism spot as brand for selection by tourist. moreover, the challenges faced and tackling strategies to make it even with all odds were discussed and also the curiosity of participants about product and services had led the program to its end.
Session of Legal Structure & Taxation led by CA Anil Lamichhane started with how a business can be registered according to new rules, regulations & policies? along with government policies towards upgrading the business and government liberal policies for conduction. Also discussed about payment system under different capital of business, rebates, government fundings and more on the day. Participants and trainer had a very informative discussion regarding the topic of the day.

Session 1: Integrating Technology into your Social Enterprise

Session 2: Art of Handling Difficult Conversation
Resource Person: Hari Dhakal (Nabil Bank: Gandaki Province Head- Pokhara Branch)
The "Integrating Technology Into your Social Enterprise" session led by our NSSE Administrator & Principal; Kiran K.C. sir - LA GRANDEE International College started by defining 'what is social Enterprise?' Identifying problems, brainstorming & solving it with the use of technology, also discussed under the topic "why Technology?" undertaking four Projects highlighting factors influencing use of technology and integrating technology into our enterprise and finally "workshop" and presenting it with the session participants to make it more practical under different fields of participants.
Second Session " Art of Difficult Conversation" took a practical session by participating all in discussion and dealing the session with example that actually happened which gave different level of energy to all in the session which was easily visible through the concept & content as discussed; NABIL SSE Certificate Course-LA Grandee International College.

The Field Visit took off from LA GRANDEE International College under supervision of Mr. Amrit Paudel took the route to Bagmara-33, Pokhara at Usha Plastic Recycling: a solution to plastic waste management and had the observation with the little tour around and learning about waste management. Also had a tour to Namuna Bee Farm with a vision for Home stay; somehow an agro-tourism content with a production quality, improvement in production, increasing income through agro products; while observing we could find agriculture production with a step towards commercialization & agro-Tourism concept at "Namuna Bee farm" from owner & entrepreneur; NABIL SSE Certificate Course-LA Grandee International College.
