Shell Eco Marathon 2022
Nepali Talent: Electric vehicle made by Students from WRC, Pokhara named 'Himalayan Pheasant 2.0' is selected for on track event of Shell eco marathon 2022 in Indonesia which is a prestigious global competition for engineers. All the cost for designing and fabricating vehicle was beared by students. 😲
Himalayan pheasant 2.0 is a battery electric vehicle designed and assembled by a group of students of Institute of Engineering, Pashchimanchal Campus, Pokhara.
The time, the sweat, the exertion, the devotion has finally paid off and we have come up with a prototype of a battery electric vehicle, namely Himalayan Pheasant 2.0. When we started this task, our goal was the creation of a net zero-emission vehicle thereby contributing to a sustainable future. We believe that our goal has reached to a satisfactory level.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Pashchimanchal Campus, Department of Automobile and Mechanical Engineering and GESAN(Geomatics Engineering Students Association of Nepal) for their kind support and cooperation.

All the physical events of Shell Eco Marathon 2021 were cancelled because of worldwide pandemic.
Despite our achievement in the very first attempt, we were unable to represent our nation.
We would like to notify you that the registration for Shell Eco Marathon 2022 has been already started. All the interested students of 3rd year from Department of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Electronics Engineering are requested to fill up the form.

Hello all!
We are delighted to inform you all that we are able to secure 127th postition in the virtual technical inspection for the ongoing shell eco marathon. This places us as the top team from Nepal and among the top 50 in Asia Pacific Region. If the situation had been normal, we would have been participating in ontrack events representing our Country.
With all your continuous love and support, we will be continuing our project and trying our best to rank better in coming years.
