Privileged to share the keynote address by Chief Guest Pro. Dr. Mahananda Chalise(Rector,Tribhuvan University,) at the National Conference on Emerging Issues on Management and Social Science ( ) organised by the institution with the support of university Grants Commission +UGC). His discourse offers critical, forward-looking perspectives on contemporary challenges and shifting paradigms within the disciplines of management and social sciences. The First National Research Conference on "Emerging Trends in Management and Social Sciences—PMCNC2026" successfully culminated in Pokhara ,uspiciously organized by Pokhara Multiple Campus, supported by University Grants Gommission(UGC Nepal),the two-day symposium drew a diverse assembly of academic dignitaries, researchers, and scholars affiliated with various universities and higher education institutions across the nation. The conference served as a scholarly platform for the presentation and dissemination of 40 rigorous research papers addressing contemporary issues in management and the social sciences.

​The inaugural session, commencing on Friday, was presided over by the Chief Guest, Professor Dr. Mahananda Chalise, Rector of Tribhuvan University. In his inaugural address, Professor Dr. Chalise emphasized that the academia must assume a more proactive role in diagnosing and elucidating the systemic social and managerial challenges prevalent within society. Furthermore, he posited that such intellectual forums are instrumental in fostering a robust research culture and motivating faculty, students, and independent investigators toward empirical inquiry.

​According to Shishukala Parajuli, Campus Chief of Pokhara Multiple Campus, the primary objective of the conference was to accelerate institutional research output, thereby generating data-driven frameworks to mitigate multifaceted challenges observed at both local and national levels.

​The event featured distinguished keynote addresses from eminent scholars, including Professor Dr. Mahananda Chalise; Professor Dr. Chandra Bhadra; Professor Dr. Indra Prasad Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor of Gandaki University; and the former Dean and Associate Professor of Shinawatra University, Thailand.
​Additionally, a high-level panel discussion was convened, featuring scholarly contributions from Professor Dr. Lekhnath Bhattarai; Bishwa Shankar Palikhe, former President of the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and Hari Budhathoki, Chief Executive Officer of Green Development Bank.
​The inaugural and valedictory ceremonies were chaired by Shankar Gurung, Chairman of the Pokhara Multiple Campus Management Committee.

Valedictory reflections and institutional perspectives were also shared by prominent stakeholders, including Outgoing Chairman Narendra Man Lalchan; Pro. Dr. Lekhnath Bhattarai, Deepak Prasad Ghimire, Coordinator of the Research Management Committee; Bhim Prasad Neupane, Conference Coordinator; Dr. Tika Dhakal, representing the community of researchers; and student representative Ganesh Ramdam.
