Identifying research priority areas is essential to promote science, technology, and innovation, channel limited funding, and encourage people to engage in research activities. Physics Research Initiatives (PRI) is surveying to identify the research priority areas in Gandaki Province in collaboration with the Gandaki Province Academy of Science and Technology (GPAST).
This survey aims to rank possible research priority areas for Gandaki Province according to their potential impact on the overall socio-economic development of the province.

Physics Initiatives in Nepal is organizing National Physics Essay Competition where students from any level of education can participate to express their words revolving the domain of Physics. Top 5 essays will be posted in the website of PIN and we will provide certificates to all the participants. Prize money of Rs. 2500, Rs. 1500, and Rs. 1000 will be awarded to first, second, and third respectively. The deadline for submitting essay is 21st July, 2020 and no response after this date will be accepted.
Some example topics of essays are:
