Darlamdanda Secondary School

Krishna Pd. Koirala is merged in this school, its work span expanded to Gejha. When this school was got approval for grade 6th as middle school on 3rd Falgun 2019, this school started to run as ‘Shree Darlamdanda Junior High School 2024 BS. When this school was closed because of lacking physical resources and subject teacher in 2026BS, this school was limited to Lower Secondary school running the grade 7 because of the National Education System 2031. When there was huge demand of a high school in that area, this school was started to run as high school by following grade 8,9,10 in year 2035, 2036, 2037 respectively and this school was declared stable. When there was a demand to upgrade this school to higher secondary level this school was started to run as temporary permission from Higher secondary education board in 2054BS. At that time this school was the only one running till 10+2 school at that period. This school has got this reputation because of the help from many well wishers from Darlamndanda, Darunga, Gejha, Yamgha, Barangdi etc.
2.2 Physical Location of the school
This school located in the distance of 12 Km north from District headquarter Tansen. This school lies between ward No. 1 and 8 of Darlamdanda VDC, Locality No. 7, and constitution area no. 2. This school covers its effectiveness to Darlamdanda, Chappani, Nayar Namtales and Khanichhap VDCs. This school is the height of 250m to 1100m from sea level.

Details of buildings
This school is situated end of Darunga Village and head of the Darlamdanda village. Some buildings lies in Darlamdanda-1 and some of them are in Darlamdanda-8. It’s not easy to make boundary because of narrow physical structure it’s too costly also. The southern part of the building is affected by landslide. There are total 5 numbers of buildings including big and small in which total 24 rooms are there. Total 20 rooms are used for grade 1 to 12 study. Among rest of the buildings one room for library, oe rom for office and one room for computer study are used. There are 3 water tanks with total capacity of 24660 liter, 2 urinary rooms and 4 toilets.
