TPACK (Technical Pedagogical Content Knowledge)The best teachers are those who have a deep understanding of their subject matter as well as a deep understanding of what makes learning effective. It is more than the simple fusion of two parts. PCK combines pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) with a practice-based approach. In this way, 20th century expert teachers transformed subject content so that people understanding it in their own contexts could easily grasp it.Technologies of the Information and Communications Revolution (ICT) have revolutionized how knowledge is gained and shared throughout the world. By offering new methods of interacting with learners, ICT also transforms pedagogy.ICT (information and communications technology) is one step towards helping educators excel in today's world. Teachers should combine their subject-matter knowledge with what is good for learning. The term TPACK (Technical Pedagogical Content Knowledge) describes TPCK. The integration of ICT and traditional methods is not enough. In conjunction with PCK, ICT can be used for accessing and processing subject matter (TCK) and for enhancing learning (TPK).A teacher's knowledge embodied in TPACK varies from the knowledge embodied by a discipline expert (such as a scientist or historian), a technical expert (such as a computer scientist), or a learning expert (such as a psychologist). Teaching mathematicians in Year 5 with ICT is different from teaching history in secondary school or early literacy. Consequently, skills-based educators should connect content (content), pedagogy (pedagogy), and technology (technology) in a creative way.
TPACK consists of three parts:
Knowledge of technology:
Teachers can use and integrate technology in the classroom with its help. In your role as a teacher, you can use your technological knowledge to learn about and understand tools you can use. You can use an app to play games. Teachers use technology as part of their technological knowledge.
Knowledge of pedagogy:
Teaching is the art and practice of teaching. Putting knowledge into practice to make learning fun and engaging for students. Knowledge is not only about accuracy, but also about the effectiveness of teaching. Teachers are unable to teach even though they know everything.
Knowledge of content:
The subject matter being taught or learned is their understanding of it. Conceptual, theoretical and framework ideas may also be included. Koehler and Mishra (2009) wrote this article.
TPACK stands for Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge, a model that enables teachers to think about how their domains intersect in order to build a better understanding and engagement with technology.
