सुदूरपश्चिम विश्वविद्यालयका नव नियुक्त रजिष्ट्रार प्रा. डा. गोविन्द सिंह बिष्टज्यूको स्वागत तथा पदभार कार्यक्रमको झलक। उहाँलाई हार्दिक बधाई तथा कार्यकाल सफलताको शुभकामना ।

नव नियुक्त उपकुलपति तथा पूर्व रजिस्ट्रार आदरणीय प्रा. यज्ञराज पाठकज्यूको स्वागत तथा पदभार ग्रहण कार्यक्रमका केही झलकहरू। यहाँको कार्यकाल विश्वविद्यालयको समग्र प्रगति, शैक्षिक उन्नयन तथा राष्ट्रिय अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय प्रतिष्ठा अभिवृद्धिका दृष्टिले सधै झैं सफल, उपलब्धिमूलक तथा प्रेरणादायी रहोस् भन्ने हार्दिक शुभेच्छा व्यक्त गर्दछौं।

Third Trimester Review Meeting:

Along with academic,financial and physical progress they showcased the issues and challenges and received way forwards to tackle them for continued academic excellence.

Today on 30th Chaitra 2082 (13 April 2026), a virtual meeting under the Erasmus+ Project (Project No. 101179725) MAinstreaming GENDer Equality in Academia (MAGENDA) titled “Advancing Gender Equality in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)” was successfully held at the Central Office, Shuklaphanta Hall of Far Western University. Representatives from partner institutions, including Pokhara University and Bangladesh University, participated virtually in the program. During the session conducted by Dr. Deepak Chand Bhatt, Prof. Dr. Neeti Aryal Khanal delivered her presentation virtually, while Gender Expert Ms. Menuka Basnet presented in person. The program was graced by the registrar of the University as a Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Binod Lekhak, and chaired by the co-ordinator of this project Dr. Gambhir Bahadur Chand. The event witnessed active participation from university officials, faculty members, administrative staff, Student Ambassadors, and students, with a total of approximately 60 attendees. The program expects to contribute significantly to promote gender equality and fostering an inclusive academic environment within higher education institutions.

Tri-Party Memorandum of Understanding (MoU):
On 25 Chaitra 2082 (BS), a tri-party Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed among Tribhuvan University, Far Western University, and Mid-West University.
The agreement was signed respectively by Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal, Prof. Dr. Hemraj Pant, and Prof. Dr. Dhruba Kumar Gautam in the presence of Prof. Dr. Devraj Adhikari, Chairperson of the University Grants Commission, Nepal.
This important collaboration is expected to facilitate and strengthen the Faculty and Student Exchange Program among the universities.
