Dignified Menstruation Training has been completed at Karuna Girls School, creating a safe and informed space for girls to learn and speak openly about menstrual health.

In many Nepalese communities, menstruation remains a taboo subject. Silence, misinformation, and limited knowledge of proper hygiene can create serious health challenges for girls and women. Through our Anatta Community Health Clinics in the Lumbini area, we have repeatedly encountered women silently suffering from uterine prolapse and other gynecological problems, often unable to discuss their symptoms or seek timely help.

This is why awareness must begin at a young age. Every girl deserves accurate information, safe hygiene practices, confidence, and the dignity to seek support without shame.

Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Radha Paudel and her team for their mentorship and for supporting our young pioneers in Lumbini.
