We at Youth Thinkers’ Society are beyond thrilled to team up with the youth of Budhanilkantha and the Ministry of Health and Population to host a transformative panel discussion.

Our young participants had the incredible opportunity to engage in a candid dialogue with Honorable Health Minister Mr. Pradip Paudel, where pressing questions met insightful answers and inspiring solutions.

Thinkers' Model UN 2024 is third iteration of an amazing school level MUN to be organised in Kathmandu, Nepal. Along with diverse modulation of the MUN through the ages, this year MUN Society Nepal is bringing back Thinkers' Model UN into life, shaping it better than ever for you. With exciting committees, integrated workshop plans, interschool modality, Thinkers' Model UN is a must grab opportunity.

We are excited to share that members of YTS MUN Society Nepal actively participated in the Watch Party for the UN Summit of the Future on September 25, 2024, organized by the UN Country Team. This incredible event gave us a front-row seat to witness the Youth Action Day proceedings live from the UN Headquarters, sparking insightful discussions and reflections on how global leaders are addressing key priorities like youth empowerment and safeguarding future generations.

A special thank you to Miss Sunar from UNFPA and our dear member Mr _Prajwal Shrestha for extending the invitation and to UN Country Team for hosting us at the UN House in Pulchowk. It was a remarkable experience to be part of this global conversation, and we look forward to using these insights to amplify the voices of youth in Nepal.

We're thrilled to announce that YTS MUN Society Nepal has successfully conducted its Training of Trainers (ToT) - Phase III, on September 19th, 2024!

The event was both fruitful and insightful, diving deep into various teaching techniques as trainers in a classroom and exploring the technicalities of adapting to situations as trainers and organizers of MUNs. A highlight of the session was our esteemed Guest Speaker, Ms. Dipika Shrestha, Program Lead of EIMUN 2024, whose insights gave our trainers a deeper understanding of the organizer's perspective, gearing them up to organize future MUNs.

We were also honored to have the Executive Director of Youth Thinkers’ Society, Ms. Kushma K.C. in sharing her support and excitement for our trainers.

Additionally, we celebrated the success of Nightingale MUN, which our general members played a pivotal role in—from approaching the school to overseeing the entire process of its successful first edition. Here's to many more achievements together!

The first edition of Nightingale Model United Nations (NMUN) 2024, held on September 11-12, was the first school-level MUN organized by MUN Society Nepal in collaboration with Nightingale School.

We organised 4 days of workshops, focusing on ROPs, research, public speaking and building up confidence which helped the delegates in the two-days conference. Initiated by our general member Ms. Niharika Khadgi, who took the step to bring MUN to her school, the event was led by Mr. Rupak Ale Magar, Secretary of MUN Society Nepal, and Ms. Sophiya Shrestha, general member of MUN Society Nepal, who served as Secretary General of NMUN 2024. This accomplishment marks the beginning of a promising journey for MUN Society Nepal. Congratulations to all the members whose contributions were vital to its success!

Believing in early intervention and the power of youth as the future, we aim to expand learning beyond textbooks and cultivate essential skills for tomorrow's leaders.

After the MUN Orientation session, students at Bal Deeksha Sadan Secondary School are diving deeper into the world of MUN with engaging workshops. Fueling the interest among the delegates, we are now all set to have BDSMUN in line.

Day 3 of the Kathmandu Euro MUN Conference:

The success of both committees was evident as UN Women achieved the passage of a progressive Resolution, while DISEC saw the approval of two impactful resolutions.
