IEF 2021 OPEN FOR REGISTRATIONS!
We are only a few days away from the fifth edition of IEF, which has been months in the making. We bring you a little bit of everything for teachers, students, parents, and schools as we get closer to the main activities of this year's IEF. Choose from a number of quality education themes, such as how we define quality in education and how that impacts classroom practice, organizational structure, and behavior.
There will be a total of six virtual rooms in which partner organizations and educators will host three presentations and three workshops simultaneously.

Schedule Events
The panel discussion will be around our understanding of quality education in the context of Nepal, re-examine existing policies and practices unresponsive to the need of learners in classrooms, and strive to engage in some new insights around the issue.

Our fourth panel discussion will be on Teaching and Learning: A Path Forward After the Pandemic.
Pavitra Gautam will conduct the panel discussion, which will include Shanta Dixit of Rato Bangala Foundation and School, Rajendra Dahal of Shikshak Magazine, Sw****ka Shrestha of TFN, and Dr. Meenakshi Dahal.
The speakers will discuss what can be learned from the effects of Covid-19 on Nepal's education sector and how to reassess the system's possibilities beyond the pandemic crisis. The conversation will look at how the education system may be reformed to promote equity and quality across the country.

Our third panel discussion is on Exploring various learning experiences of students during pandemic.
We are particularly excited about this panel discussion since it will feature kids from a variety of public and private schools who will speak about their experiences with online learning and their perspectives on it.
Sanjeevani Yonzan of WCN will be moderating the session who will be joined by Ashmita Jhedi Magar of Shree Saraswati Namuna, Dharkey Gurung of Crystal Mountain School, Arjen Dhami of Sunrise School, Sanjita Tamang of Chitrasari School, Anisha Bhandari of Shree Sh*tala Higher Secondary School, and Sabina Rai of Shree Janata Higher Secondary School as the participants.

Inviting all to our second panel discussion on "Contextualizing Inclusive Education: Policy and Practices". The speakers will discuss the need for, policy, and practices of localized curriculum, which incorporates nature, cultural features, community aspects, mother tongue, and other topics.
Gujeshwori Shrestha, Local Curriculum Coordinator Kathmandu, Sagar Prasai, Diverse Patterns/Disability Inclusion Specialist, and Baudha Raj Niraula, Campus Chief of Bhagyodaya Campus, will accompany Dr. Lina Gurung as the moderator.
