Mr. Upreti, who is currently pursuing his MEd in Leadership and Management with us, has not only been elected as a Member of Parliament but has also achieved the remarkable distinction of being the youngest elected Member of Parliament.

Seeing our students step into significant leadership roles at the national level is a true testament to the power and impact of educational leadership. We are confident that the dedication, vision, and management skills he brings to our classrooms will translate beautifully into his public service.

Admission Call for MPhil and PhD Programs for the 2026 Feb Intake!

Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED) announces the admission call for MPhil and PhD programs for the February 2026 intake.

Admission Call Timelines

Final Date for Form Submission: December 20, 2025
Written Test: December 26, 2025 (Time: 12:30 PM)
Interview: December 27, 2025 (Time: 12:00 PM onwards)
Admission Due Date: January 15, 2026
Orientation: February 6, 2026 (Time 5: 30 PM)
Sessions start on February 7, 2026

Eligibility Criteria

For MPhil: Master's Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution with a minimum of 50% score in aggregate or CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.

For PhD: 17 years of formal education and a minimum score of 60% in aggregate or a CGPA of 3 out of 4 in the last degree in related fields.
