We are proud to share that our esteemed faculty member, Civil Engineer Dr. Shanti Kala Subedi, recently delivered a presentation on her ongoing research titled:
“𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲: 𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂, 𝗡𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗹.”

The presentation was delivered before college colleagues and Prof. Dr. Vishnu Prasad Pandey (Water Resources), Department of Civil Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, IoE.

Her research highlights a highly relevant and sustainable approach to tackling the growing challenge of urban flooding in Kathmandu through effective groundwater recharge strategies.

This research is being carried out in collaboration with two Civil Fourth Year students:
Pratik Raj Bhatt and Sujal Adhikari, reflecting HCOE’s strong commitment to student involvement in impactful research.
