भदौ २२
गत भदौ १० गते भोटेकोशी तथा त्रिशूली नदीमा आएको बाढीका कारण मृत्यु भएका १३सय भन्दा बढी व्यक्तिहरु स्मृतिमा काठमाडौँ विश्वविद्यालयमा शोक सभा सम्पन्न भएको छ ।

विश्वविद्यालयका शिक्षक, कर्मचारी तथा विद्यार्थी उपस्थित उक्त कार्यक्रममा विश्वविद्यालयका तर्फबाट उपकुलपति प्राडा विवेक बरालले दिवंगत व्यक्तिहरुको चीर शान्तिको कामना गर्दै शोक सन्तप्त परिवारप्रति हार्दिक समवेदना व्यक्त गर्नुभयो । स्कुल अफ इन्जिनियरिङका डीन प्राडा मनीष पोखरेलले पछिल्ला दिनमा उद्धारको क्रममा केही सफलता प्राप्त भएकाले थप सम्पर्कबिहिीन व्यक्तिहरु लगायत काठमाडौं विश्वविद्यालयका सम्पर्कबिहीन विद्यार्थीको उद्धार हुने आशा व्यक्त गनुभयो ।

असिस्टेन्ट प्रोफेसर मनीष प्रकाशले काठमाडौं विश्वविद्यालयको खोज, उद्धार तथा समन्वय समिति २०८३ बाट विश्वविद्यालयका सम्पर्कविहीन विद्यार्थीहरुको खोजीका लागि भइरहेको पहलका बारेमा जानकारी दिनुभयो ।

For us, this is not simply about introducing a new academic programme. It is about creating opportunities to strengthen professional knowledge, encourage ethical and evidence-informed practice, and respond more meaningfully to the diverse needs of individuals, families, and communities in Nepal.
