Our 4th Year students have wrapped up their Neighbourhood planning design studio recently. Some glimpses of their final presentation.

Glad to share that our Department has the very 1st winners of Design Logue Student Design Competition 2025 conducted in association with Laminar Vitrified Tiles for our 4th Year Students.

Three of our students from 077 Batch along with a faculty recently visited Asian Paints Nepal Factory Unit in Hetauda to observe and learn more about the paints. This progam is conducted in collaboration with Asian Paints Nepal.

The Department of Architecture, HCOE, is privileged to have Ar. Sanjay Bahadur Thapa for reviewing the conceptual development work by our thesis batch 2077 on 21st Poush, Monday.

Ar. Thapa, graduated in Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University, USA as a Fulbright Scholar. He has worked in Boston and New Delhi. Presently, he is the Principal Architect at Archiplan SBT. In the past decade, he has undertaken a wide range of architecture, urban design, and conservation projects in Nepal. He has worked as project architect in construction of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Kathmandu. He has also worked as design/planning consultant in preparation of Master Plan of Mizoram University, India. In addition, he has taught architecture design at Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan University.

The interactive review session with constructive comments and suggestions from the senior practicing architect was especially beneficial to the students to improve on their design development work from here on.
